Mr. Bassett is currently the Head Coach of the Lincoln Lutheran boys soccer team. He currently teaches Social Studies and Religion at Lincoln Lutheran High School. Mr. Bassett has been coaching for Lincoln Lutheran since 1997, he loves coaching because soccer players make it fun for him, and he enjoys coaching every year, whether the outcome is good or bad. He loves seeing younger players change through the years and see how much they improved. Most players have good things to say about Mr. Bassett, we all love him at a coach, even when he works us hard, we know we are improving.
When i asked him his thoughts of our upcoming 2013 season, he said “There are a lot of new faces this year, and since we graduated 11 seniors from last year, there are more opportunities for the younger players, so they will have to work hard to fit where the last year seniors were.”
